Cancellation and No-Show Policy

STRICTLY ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!

ONLINE BOOKING
All booked services require a valid credit or debit card for purposes of booking and confirming your appointment. This policy ensures that our client appointments and our staff's schedules are fully utilized by minimizing our late-cancel, missed appointment and no-show costs and allows us to provide value pricing to all of our clients. Your private credit card information is processed in compliance with the latest PCI Data Security Standards at all times. If you choose to save or store your credit card information as a result of creating your account in our scheduling system, rest assured that it is stored securely by our secured scheduling system through the integration with a nationally accredited merchant credit card processing company. No information is stored locally on our servers.

CANCELLATIONS

As a smaller Barber shop, our personal and professional income is based solely upon the barber services provided to you, our clients. We do our best to provide excellent service and consistency every time and doing so we expect the same in return. We ask when making an appointment that you do your best to keep that appointment. While we understand that circumstances may arise that will require a possible cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment, the following policies are in place to ensure that we can accommodate all of our valued clients as efficiently and effective as possible given the limited amount of available appointments per week.

We confirm all appointments immediately after booking via email and/or text (depending on your preference and information provided during booking). We also remind all clients 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.

At least a 24 hours advanced notice is required for any appointment cancellations. The online booking service will allow you to cancel or reschedule your appointment as necessary outside of the 24 hour window. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be subect to paying 100% of the booked service(s).

 

No Call No Show: If you fail to show for your scheduled appointment you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service(s) and will lose your online privileges of booking an appointment and become strictly walk-in, if a spot is available.

 

These policies will be enforced due to high volume of clientele. Late appointments will only be given a 5-minute grave period after their scheduled time to show, after the 5 minutes is up you, will be marked as a No Cal lNo Show. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD FOR CHILDRENS OR TEEN APPOINTMENTS! The appointment slot is too small to allow a grace period. It is up to each barber to either rebook you or service you at your late appointment if they are able. This is to make sure to not inconvenient others who have scheduled an appointment and who are on time! Please plan accordingly, as we know sometime school bus or pick up can run behind. We have the right to refuse services at any given time for any situation!

HOLIDAYS OR PREMIUM WEEKS
During certain times of the year which we consider premium dates, our Cancellaion and No-Show policy extends to forty-eight (48) hours notice for any changes or cancellations to your appointment to avoid incurring a late-change, cancellation or no-show charge. These are dates during the year when our guests' demand for services could exceed our ability to serve that demand.

​Examples of these would be, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Back to School Week, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Changes or cancellations will be accepted without any penalty up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Change or cancellation requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment are subject to a change or cancellation fee equal to the amount of the service(s) being changed or cancelled. No-shows within the 48 hour window will be charged the full amount of the service(s) scheduled and subject to being blocked from future online booking. Previously booked fee(s) are not transferrable to a future service. This cancellation policy is not negotiable.

PRIVACY NOTICE
We recognize that you have chosen to do business with us, and we guard that relationship with great care. We will not share your personal information with anyone. This information will assist us in serving you most effectively with our offerings.

PERSONAL INFORMATION USE
Our preferred method of communication with you, including appointment confirmations, is by email and/or text. Once you have provided us with your email and/or text while booking an appointment, you are automatically opted-in to our email and/or text system and you will be able to take advantage of our special invitations, special events and promotions. If you would prefer not to receive this type of communication, you may opt-out at any time.

Other Shop Policies

Walk-in Policy

Unique Barbershop operates by appointment only. Clients who walk in expecting a service, will be offered the next appointment available.  There are no exceptions to this policy.
 

Tardy Policy

In the event of a client being 5 min late for their appointment without a courtesy call, Unique will mark the client as a no call-no show and will then charge the client for the missed appointment under the no call, no show policy.

Straight Razor Policy

Unique takes pride in the fact that we are one of the very few barber shops still utilizing a traditional straight razor. We believe it is a time honored barber tradition, and is saved for gentlemen who have reached the age of 16. At no time, will our barbers use a straight razor on young men under this age.

Discount Policy
Senior- Reserved for clients 65+

First Responder- Reserved for clients that are actively serving the community as a Law Enforcement Officer, EMT, or Firefighter.

Military- Reserved for clients who are actively serving in a military capacity. Active Duty, National Guard, or Reservists.
